2019 in review + Christmas hours
What a year! The Otago market has had another year of strong buyer demand. The high number of multiple offers, swift sales and increased house prices is expected to continue, great news if you’re ready to sell next year.
Our Property Management team has grown this year, with new Dunedin residential and University listings, and high rental demand. We’ve added support to our Cromwell and Mosgiel offices and our bespoke marketing has seen properties in all areas let in record time. In 2020, the next phase of the Government’s Healthy Homes legislation rolls out. We have plans in place to ensure our clients’ properties comply in time.
Edinburgh Short Stays is flying along, with 30 properties now on our books. Visitor occupancy is taking off, owners are seeing the benefits of our fully managed service and solid returns, and visitors are happy too, awarding excellent ratings to the short term properties we manage.
We’ve enjoyed another great year supporting the Highlanders, the Otago Art Society, and our community through our agents’ sponsorships of local sports clubs, organisations and events. We look forward to catching up with you out and about across Otago next year.
