I am all things advertising at Edinburgh! I collate, book and design all of Edinburgh’s print media advertising. I liaise directly with the property consultants, and media outlets to ensure all advertising is of a high quality. I also assist with the design of other company branded projects, such as promo and social media videos/reels, flyers, and digital signage.
I graduated from the Otago Polytechnic in 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Design Communication. I worked as a kennel assistant and receptionist at a dog kennel and cattery while I was studying and saving to go on my big overseas adventure to Europe! I have previously worked as a freelance designer specialising in web and graphic design, and have experience in a wide variety of creative mediums including marketing, photography, film, animation and video editing. These skills coupled with my previous customer service experience allow me to communicate effectively and efficiently.
I am continually looking for ways to strengthen my skillset and grow, not only as a designer, but as a person too. When this role popped up on my radar, I knew it was what I had been looking for. I enjoy the process of ideation and creating fresh new content, it’s where I find immense fulfilment. I thrive on the challenge of translating concepts into visually compelling designs that resonate with our target audience – every project I work on presents an opportunity to explore new creative avenues and refine my skills.
