Fall in love at the Edinburgh Realty Premier Art Awards

It’s time to don your art critic hat and scarf and head along to the 2019 Edinburgh Realty Premier Art Awards. Thank you to everyone who entered this year. This is the 13th exhibition we’re looking forward to hosting alongside the Otago Art Society at the Dunedin Railway Station.

This year, the official judge is Bruce Hunt. A full–time artist since 1983, Bruce has exhibited regularly throughout New Zealand. His paintings capture the enduring majesty of the Central Otago landscape, while his photographic work explores the lives and vibrant culture of the people of the Northeast of Brazil, the birthplace of his partner Fabia. His work is appreciated in private and corporate collections throughout the world. Born in Wellington, Bruce currently lives in Dunedin.

The winners will be announced Friday 9 August.

You can vote for your favourite in the people’s choice award, open throughout the public exhibition. If you do happen to fall in love with a piece or two, why not treat yourself? All entries are available for sale.

See the exhibition upstairs at the Railway Station, open daily 10am – 4pm from Saturday 10 August.
