Dunedin Sales

With a lifelong passion for property, people, and business, Stephan brings a wealth of experience to his role as a Residential Property Consultant at Edinburgh. Originally from South Africa, Stephan has hands-on experience as an investor, developer, landlord, and consultant, managing everything from residential and commercial portfolios to property automation, high-value sales, and lease negotiations.

His journey into real estate began early, assisting with the bookkeeping of investment properties during school holidays, and has evolved over the years into a full-time career he truly loves. After relocating to New Zealand, Stephan has transitioned into residential sales, where his client-first, relationship-driven approach truly shines.

Grounded, strategic, and highly personable, Stephan is known for his clear communication and practical guidance. His clients appreciate the way he brings clarity to complex processes and takes the time to ensure they feel supported and confident every step of the way. He’s not just selling homes — he’s helping people see the lifestyle and potential within them.

Whether you’re buying your first home, upsizing, or looking to make a smart sale, Stephan brings a unique perspective shaped by real-world experience, strong business acumen, practical problem-solving, and a genuine love for helping people.

Outside of work, Stephan is a proud husband to his amazing wife, Suretha, and dad to two adventurous boys, Reuben and Christiaan. Family time is full of laughter, road trips, and the occasional fort made of cardboard boxes. He’s also an avid outdoorsman, with a love for overlanding, fishing, wildlife photography, and firing up the braai. His Golden Retriever, Issabella — a tennis-ball-hoarding champion — and a pair of name-changing budgies complete the household.

Fun fact? He once won "Friendliest Kid at School" back in his early primary school years — and more than 30 years later, clients would likely agree that not much has changed.
