What's on: September

If you love seafood and a great day out, then mark Saturday 30 September in your diary.

The 2017 Port Chalmers Seafood Festival features more than 40 stalls serving incredible seafood, including southern clams, crayfish, fresh fish, green lipped mussels and whitebait.

Alongside the food is live entertainment, with Hollie Smith headlining the day’s live music.

For the children, there are fish touch tanks, games and story time. For the adults, there is craft beer, Central Otago wine and free buses back into town.

The day runs from 11am to 5pm. Tickets are $25 for adults. Children (12 and under) are free.
